Anchorage PhotoWalk with Harry Walker
Discover Anchorage's history and landmarks while advancing your photography skills. Professional photographer, Harry Walker, will guide you through the basics of photography including exposure, focus and composing compelling shots. The route covers a two mile loop beginning and ending in the historic city center, and traveling to Elderberry Park and the Ship Creek Overlook (the birthplace of the city) along the scenic Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. There is plenty of opportunity to photograph a variety of scenes along the way while learning about their historic or natural significance. This is the perfect tour to book at the beginning of your Alaska vacation; you can then put your new skills to use on subsequent excursions and take home your best travel photos yet!
This is a small group tour [2-10] for all levels of photographers. Non-photographers may also book to enjoy the narrative and points of interest around the historic city center. Children and youth are welcome to join at parents discretion - if they are interested in and able to focus on the instructional aspect of this tour.
