Private Photography Instruction

Ramp up your photography skills with the help of an Alaska Photo Treks professional instructor. We cater to all levels of photographers, from novice to advanced. Schedule a complimentary consultation in advance to determine your objective and choose the appropriate location(s) and time. Depending on your learning style, you may opt for classroom style, hands-on in the field, or a combination of both. We also offer instructions on Adobe Lightroom editing and processing techniques. Private photography instruction may include but is not limited to aperture, ISO, and shutter speed, along with understanding the exposure triangle, controlling depth-of-field and shutter speed for creative effect, reading light, and introducing light. Individual and group custom classroom & on-site instructions are available.

• $300 Half day
• $600 Full day

Groups [2-10]

• $175 pp Half day
• $325 pp Full day

Half day is 4 hours and full day is 8 hours [including travel time]. Road transportation is included in the price, but additional costs, such as fixed-wing or helicopter flights, boat services, and park fees, may be added to the above rates if you choose those options. You will receive a proposal after consultation. Please note private instruction is based on availability and the schedule of our photography guides and may require a lead time to plan.
