This fast paced and fun smartphone photography tour travels from downtown Anchorage along the scenic Seward Highway for pano views of Turnagain Arm - a narrow stretch of salt water with mountains shooting up either side and amazing scenery any direction you look. Encounter a variety of subjects from breathtaking landscapes to kitschy Alaskana, and even stop for wildlife sightings en route, which might include Dall sheep, moose, beluga whale and bald eagle. From Stewart's Photo Shop in the historic city center [531 W 4th Ave] to Bird Point Overlook, by way of Potter Marsh Section House, Beluga Point, Indian Valley Mine, McHugh Creek and Potter Marsh. Stops may vary depending on time of season and conditions.

This is a moderate activity level involving walking short distances up and downhill, on stairs and uneven terrain. Weather conditions may range from rain, wind, and sun, and temperatures from 45°F (7 °C) to 80°F (27°C). This is an all weather tour. Some of the best photo ops happen during rain, snow or fog, and wildlife tends to be more active in cool, wet weather.
